MORE ABOUT ME
Years of professional dance training set the foundation for my understanding of the body and movement. Initially attracted to the physical side of Yoga, I quickly found solace in stillness and breath. I completed my first Yoga teacher training in Tokyo, Japan and have since assisted on teacher trainings, offered courses and workshops around the world, and received certifications in Pre/Postnatal Yoga as well as Yin Yoga.
Students describe my classes as slow yet challenging, structured yet creative, deep yet fun! My classes draw from traditional yogic disciplines while also reflecting my own instinctive flows. I create classes which are methodical, breath centered, and often sprinkled with a dash of philosophy. They are designed to help us develop internal awareness so that when we step off our mats, we may live in our external worlds in a conscious, centered and peaceful way.
Currently, I am based in Louisville, Kentucky. I love being with my family and enjoying time in nature. The name OCEAN JULES is derived from my Vietnamese name "Hai Chau" which translates to "sea pearls".
My mission in life is to help others find truth and love within, in hopes that we may all radiate this joy out to the world.
